I just received the newsletter from the Attic Needlework. I want to show you a preview of some of the patterns that will be included in the cookbook and share what Jean had to say -
"I am beyond thrilled to show you here the beautiful cover for the Recipes for a Cure cookbook, available in mid-November. In addition to 250+ recipes from many of you, also included are new designs, out-of-print charts, as well as previously published complimentary designs from the following giants in our industry: Blackberry Lane Designs, Blackbird Designs, Blue Ribbon Designs, Homespun Elegance, JBW Designs, Little House Needleworks, Lizzie Kate, Mary Garry’s Sewing Cabin, Plum Street Samplers, Priscilla’s Pocket, and The Sampler House (Eileen Bennett).
We hope that we have ordered enough copies, never having ordered anything in this large amount previously. All net proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, our favorite breast-cancer charity. We are taking reservations. At $14.95/copy (if you wish, you may certainly donate more), you will want to have one for yourself, and more for gift-giving.
My deep gratitude for her countless hours in all that she did to make this project happen (formatting and editing the hundreds of recipes, stitching and finishing many of the models, and doing the cover photograph) goes to Paula Sibbald of Kelmscott Designs. Thank you, Paula, for your immeasurable contribution in coordinating this project. It wouldn’t have happened with you."
