finished!

by Primitive Stitches
on tea-dyed muslin and batting
cotton floss by DMC

My friend, Stephani, inspired me to depart from cross stitching for a bit and do some simple embroidery, prim and lovely.  And, yes, there are no fewer than 12,357 colonial knots required for this piece.  But you know how much I LOVE tying colonial knots, so I enjoyed every single one!

I can't decide whether to make this into a wall hanging or a pillow.  I hope that whoever wins this piece will enjoy having it in their home!

Amazing Natalie! And I love the fact that it's different from cross stitching :o) I see a wall hanging but I'm sure however you finish it, it will be lovely.
