Oh dear :o( I can't believe that I've been neglecting this Blog and I apologize! Hopefully things will get back on track.
First off, I want to know how everyone is doing with their projects? Do we have any pictures to post yet? I'm sure a few sneak peeks might help to inspire others ;o) I have decided that my felted snowman will be going to auction. If you don't remember what he looks like, here he is again -
I still haven't decided what to do about his arms but I'm sure some idea will come along soon ;o)
Little House Needleworks has put out a new design that is only available through Elegant Stitch -
All of the net proceeds from the sales will be going towards a breast cancer foundation. The pattern only comes in kit form and is a limited edition! I've ordered mine and I've decided I will stitch one up for the auction, and one for myself of course ;o) The kits are $30US and going fast so reserve yours now!
I also wanted to share with you another project that Jean from The Attic is doing. She is gathering recipes that will be published into a book this fall. The net proceeds from the sale of said book will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
So why am I telling you this? Because YOU can participate if you wish :o) All you have to do is forward your favorite recipe to Paula and in the Subject line state "Recipe For A Cure". No attachments please! You'll have to type your recipe in the body of your email and double check spelling and the accuracy of your recipe. At the end of your email, please include your first name and the State (if you are in the US) or country you are from. Please note: the deadline for submissions is July 15, 2010!
